THIS year, Kathryn Selby is presenting her usual five chamber-music recitals with a constant turnover in friends/collaborators. The Sydney-based pianist, recently appointed a member of the Order of Australia, mounted a progressive dinner on Wednesday evening, moving through the piano trio, quartet and quintet formats with flair, and showing that with sensible acoustic manipulation, the BMW Edge space can make an appropriate venue for small-scale music-making.
