Ticket Information 2011

Subscribers Get Priority

Priority Booking Period – As always, all subscribers receive discounts on single tickets and existing subscribers also receive preferential seating in applicable venues (City Recital Hall, Melba and Elder Halls) when subscribing before 30 September, 2010. Submit your form before this date, and you are not only guaranteed your current seats or better if they become available, but your tickets will be sent to you after the booking period closes. All other tickets will be sent out at the end of the 2010 season in order of receipt. After 30 September, 2010 all forms will be processed in order of receipt, so the faster you get your order form in, the better your seats in the reserved seating venues and assurance of a seat in our popular venues. Single tickets will also be processed after the Subscriber Priority period ends.

Win the value of your subscription back

Simply get your ticket order form in before 30 September 2010. One lucky person will enjoy the season on us!

Be an S&F Ambassador

Simply introduce a new subscriber to S&F in 2011 and receive a season of complimentary concert programs. Introduce more than one and receive 2 free tickets to your choice of any concert in the 2011 season. Please be sure your introduced subscriber names you in the allocated space on Step 1 of the ticket order form.

Bring a friend for free!

Simply be one of the first 5 subscribers to your venue and receive a complimentary ticket to the first concert of the 2011 season for a friend! (Apologies Canberrans – the venue just isn’t big enough for us to offer this, but we will send you a complimentary TRIOZ ‘Live in Concert’ for yourself or a friend!)

Bring a child for free!

All children 12 and under will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult.

S&F Audience Commission Award!

As S&F is committed to the commissioning of new works, we would like to offer audience members the opportunity of joining us in awarding a commission to an Australian composer. S&F will ask for submissions nationwide and Miss Selby will choose an outstanding work to be performed by S&F. On the booking form, simply add $2 or more to your total and S&F will put all such monies towards a fee for the composer. All supporters will be publicly acknowledged.

Can’t make one of the concert dates? One exchange is free in any venue but must be made at least 7 days in advance.

Lost your tickets? Call the S&F office on (02) 9969 7039 at least two full business days in advance for a “missing ticket voucher” to collect from the box office.

Lost season tickets will incur a fee of $5 to send replacements. Ticket exchanges for City Recital Hall must be made directly with their box office on (02) 8256 2222 (differences in ticket price may occur).

Melbourne Patrons – Bistro

Many of our regular patrons have expressed an interest in finding somewhere very close to Melba Hall to have dinner before the concerts. University House, situated behind Melba Hall, has offered our patrons access to their 2-course Bistro menu after 5:45pm on concert nights for around $35 in 2011. Bookings and payment are required at least 2 weeks in advance only through Selby & Friends in order to secure places. If you prefer to organize a group of friends to join you, we can also organize a private function room for you through University House. Please contact the S&F office for more details.

City Recital Hall Patrons ONLY

Book and Pay Online – you can also purchase your subscriptions and single tickets online from www.cityrecitalhall.com or call the box office.

City Recital Hall Single Tickets must be booked directly through the City Recital Hall Box Office on (02) 8256 2222 and will be available after the priority booking period ends. Existing subscribers who renew within this Priority period (ends 30 September) will once again be treated to a complimentary drink from City Recital Hall.

Selby & Friends regrets there are no refunds after purchase.
