First Things First

23rd October - 2nd November, 2026

This concert was especially requested by guest artists, Timo-Veikko Valve and Andrew Haveron – both principal leaders in two of Australia’s finest large ensembles. S&F is thrilled to have them both back again, especially in this blockbuster program dedicated to the chamber music of the mighty Johannes Brahms. Incredibly soulful, melodic, satisfying and full of the virtuosity and mastery for which Brahms is revered, Kathy looks forward to joining her esteemed colleagues for this brilliant and unusual season program with two old friends.
